A digital survey was recently distributed to all 79 Victorian councils to identify gaps and opportunities for planning reform.

The survey had a 100 per cent uptake and provides a baseline of planning systems and digital capability within councils.

The survey provides insights into gaps, priorities and opportunities for digital reform. The research will also inform the establishment of a $4m grants program to accelerate digital planning in councils. The survey forms part of the fact-finding phase of the larger digital reform program. A summary of the Digital Planning Survey is now available.
